What should I do? I feel so terrible.?!

Question: What should I do.? I feel so terrible..?
I just got over dehydration like a day or two ago. And now, I have this really bad cold or something. My head feels like its going to exploded. It is hard to breathe. My lungs feel like they were ripped out. I have a bad cough, runny nose, throwing up a bit. I had the runs all day yesterday. It is semi solid. I am either if it freezing in the my apartment, I am roasting. If it is hot, I am freezing. Any suggestions what to do.? I have no medical insurance since I just turned 18. I got papers for it today. I need to make an appointment to talk about it. Should I see a doctor.? I am so not myself. I can't even think straight and my body aches.Health Question & Answer

You need to hydrate yourself. Ask someone to get you some gatorade. It will help replenish the potassium and electrolytes that you have lost. Try to eat a little bit of jello. You can even drink some jello that hasn't hardened yet. You need to gently give yourself liquids and some light nourishment. Try baked potato, it will feel good on your throat. Maybe someone can go to the Chinese restaurant to get you some egg drop soup. Get a small container of rice to add to the soup. If your restaurant has it, try chicken soup with noodles, which is soft, and nurturing. Try to take extra vitamin C. Get well soon!

Now, as for seeing a physician, some communities have walk in medical clinics. They are usually reasonable, and cost much less than a regular medical visit. If your parents had health care for you, you might still be under their policy. If you are in college, sometimes you can be covered until your 22nd birthday.

If you go to a hospital, there might be a law in place that tstates that the hospital cannot turn a patient who cannot pay, away. Sometimes, a patient pays based on their salarry. If you don't make much, you don't pay much. I have been to some hospitals where a sign is displayed stating that the hospital cannot send a patient away without treatment if they cannot afford to pay.

My last diagnosis is take a bubble bath or shower, put on clean jammies, and either lay down on your sofa or your bed, turn on some music or the tv, cover yourself with the warmest blankets, have some coushy pillows, and a cup of hot tea with a heaping spoon of frozen orange juice, and a cinnamon stick, or a peppermint stick to flavor the tea. Surrender to the flu or cold and just let yourself relax. In a couple days you will start feeling better. Hang in there, and pray for a miracle!Health Question & Answer

Go to the freakin' hospital! At worst you'll get billed for the charges and just pay it out over time. Sounds like a severe flu or maybe some kind of BAD infection, I don't know but you need to go to a hospital, and sooner the better. No insurance is not worth your health. I'm sure you probably have a high fever as well, which can be dangerous.Health Question & Answer
