I couldn't donate blood because my Iron levels were too low. What should I eat? ?!
Question: I couldn't donate blood because my Iron levels were too low. What should I eat.? .?
I tried to donate blood today because I truly wanted to do it, but I supposedly couldn't because my iron levels were too low. One finger was 12.2 the other 11.7. It should be 12.5.
Please, what should I eat to increase my levels.? And how long should I wait.? When should I go back to donate.?
This is my first time trying to donate blood...and I'm so pissed because I've decided that I want to start donating blood at least 3x a year...and I couldn't my first time. Health Question & Answer
