Are people with ADHD required to take medication?!

Question: Are people with ADHD required to take medication.?
Answers:
Of course not. Lots of folks treat their ADHD with diet and have good results. Others just do nothing. After all, before anyone came up with the pigeon hole slot called ADHD, folks just were living with it and trying to find a way of life that worked with their attention problems. Most of us have something that could stand to be adjusted a bit if we want to tinker with our chemistry. I'll just live with my quirks, as they aren't so far off center to be unacceptable to ME. If you get soooo far off the center, the law can require you to be medicated and even isolated, but for most of us, taking medication is a CHOICE, not a requirement.Health Question & Answer

Absolutely not! Medication is recommended for ADD/ADHD but you can not force a person to take it. This disorder may also be helped by Yoga, counseling, change in diet as well as using herbal remedies. There are many treatment options & it is up to the patient to make the right choice.
