Question: Mixing meds with vodka please help.?
Ok I had 2 cokes with vodka and I am prescribed klonopin for depression...would it be okay if I took 1/4 of my klonopin...I don't want to get sick or anything...I just don't know if it is safe to take my meds...PLEASE HELP!Health Question & Answer

Most doctors or all for that matter will tell you not to drink alcohol with antidepressants. Alcohol is a depressant so whats the use of taking something for it if you get what I'm saying.

If it's a special occasion, I don't think two drinks will do anything but I think asking a doctor or pharmacist would be best to make sure.Health Question & Answer

You really should not drink when taking klonopin and drinking is also a depressant so you are kind of defeating the purpose of the klonopin. If I were you I would call the Pharmacy and ask them if its ok to take the medicine. Hope this helps
