Question: Weightlifting and Small Wrists.?
I have very small wrists (about 6" around). I was just wondering what precautions I should take when weightlifting to prevent strain.
Is weightlifting a bad idea with such small wrists.?

my wrists are that big and i havent had a problem, you should probably start out with a 3-5 pounder the first week or month depending on how strong you get, and then gradually increase the weight. if you start experiencing pain use wrist gaurds or talk to a doctor and lower the amount of weight....good luckHealth Question & Answer
