It's healthier if you stumble out of bed and go.If you continue to 'hold' you will end up with a UTI.And then to the Docs for the infection.I don't like getting so I do several things.#1 No fluids for one hour before I get in bed.(I go to bed 1-2 hours b-4 I sleep)Then pee as much as you can,it helps a lot.# 2 Drink only WATER 4-5 hours before going to bed.Avoid all caffeine at least 5 hours before bed .Caffeine acts as a diuretic,ie,makes you have to pee.Try these things and see if they help you.Since I started this mini program I only have to get up once or twice a week.Good luck,EHealth Question & Answer

Ummm... why don't you just get up and go to the bathroom.? I'm sure worse to pee in the bed so it's probably not "wrong" to hold it. However, you'd probably get a better night's sleep if you just went and didn't hold it in.Health Question & Answer
