Question: I have Itchy pubic hair!.?

I always seem to get itchy around my pubic hair. It's on and off, not ALL the time. I don't think I have crabs. The last time I slept with someone was two weeks ago and it I presume it would have started itching before now.
I get dry skin a lot and wonder whether my skin is a little sensitive in this region and irritated by the hair.
I'm female by the way.
