kidney stone and a kidney infection. They gave her antibiotics and pain medicine and sent her away. Now she is having trouble urinating. She has only went once today. The hospital told her to follow up with her doctor, but she doesn't have one because of no insurance and no money. She is only 26 with a new baby and the baby's dad died in February after the baby was only 3 weeks old. How can someone with no insurance and money get seen and helped at some place other than an emergency room that is basically going to give you the "quick fix" for the problem.? Someone with money problems can go to a non-profit catholic hospital for no charge (they may want proof that you can't pay or they will set up a payment plan). "Giving" away so much in medical care is part of the requirement to being a non-profit charitable facility. They cannot turn you away no matter your ability to pay.Health Question & Answer
You might be able to try a different emergency room or even a urgent care clinic. The doctors at urgent care aren't in as much as a hurry to get you in and out. Make sure she drinks plenty of fluids especially water and cranberry juice.

She can probably qualify for public assistance like medi-cal I am not sure what state you live in so I don't know what assistance is available for her.Health Question & Answer
