Question: My eleven year old daughter snoors very loud and seems to have a problem resting is there anything i can do.?
Answers:
Yes. Ask your doctor to a referral to an ENT (ear, nose, and throat specialist). She may have a deviated septum or some other structural problem that causes the snoring. Snoring is an serious symptom because people who snore don't get enough oxygen when they sleep, they wake frequently, and never get enough rest. Snoring can lead to serious health problems.

I would have her ears-neck-throat checked to make sure there is nothing wrong there. Otherwise, it might be a good thing to have a sleep study done. Even young children can have sleep apnea. Health Question & Answer
