anemia, women can get that from their periods Health Question & Answer

What's happening to you could be due to a number of things but getting a diagnosis from the internet is a very bad idea. It could be something as simple as low blood sugar or it could be a brain tumor. You need to see a doctor as soon as possible so you can find out, once and for all, what is causing this. Good luck!! : /Health Question & Answer

If you haven't gone to a doctor, you should..while it could be dehydration, it could be something much worse or even something underlying to cause the dehydration. Make an appointment with your doctor, if it isn't anything horrible at least you went it and found out what it was. Better to be safe then sorry laterHealth Question & Answer

Go see the doctor this week and tell him what you have told us. He might give you a halter monitor that you press a button when you are having a "spell" so he can see what is going on with your heart when it happens. He might do an EKG to see if your heart rhythm is normal. It could be a thyroid problem, or your blood sugar could be off. It is hard to say at this point, but blood tests among other things will help your doctor get to the bottom of it. Health Question & Answer

Yes. It is hypoglycemia.
Your adrenals are SHOT.
Another test for this: take your blood pressure after having lain down for 10 minutes. It should be around 115/75.
Now stand up, and take your blood pressure immediately. If it goes down, you are hypoglycemic and need to heal your adrenals. If it goes up a few points, then you are OK.

Blacking out/fainting for no reason is not good. Do you eat properly.? (thinking low blood sugar-hypoglyemia). take meds, drugs.? I would not be so much worried about heart as neurological. But who knows. I think this is serious enough to see a Dr. about - You could black out driving. Have an aneurysm. I suggest you get checked out -Health Question & Answer

This used to happen to me and I'm pretty sure that it was because I was dehydrated. I had not been drinking enough fluids throughout the day. After I started drinking more water it stopped.Health Question & Answer

Are you anemic.? Consult a qualified physicianHealth Question & Answer

If this has been happening for years I wouldn't panic. I bet you passed out from the crowd at the concert and you were hot, like in the shower. I agree it can be low blood sugar. My sister faints whenever she has a medical procedure, not matter how minor. My whole family faints. I fainted once on a subway and went to the doctor and he said I had fluid in my ears and to take cholortrimiton or some allergy pills. It seemed to work. I would get checked too though, just to see if he has a better idea.Health Question & Answer

There are a number of things for you to think about. Have you had your blood pressure checked.? Too high or too low of blood pressure can cause fainting. Are you on any medications.? A number of medications can throw your pressure off whack or cause fainting when changing positions from sitting to standing. There are also disorders that are not harmful but cause random fainting spells. Either way, I would be concerned enough to make a visit to your family physician. You need some tests run, especially with your family history. Get an answer so you can stop worrying and start doing something about it!Health Question & Answer

blood circulation restriction to brain due to heart problems can lead to fainting spell
heart arrhythmia's- leading to temporary stopping of blood supply to brain can cause fainting
blockage in teh carotid arteries, which is a route to brain cause fainting
fits can present as fainting
and many more. so go to a doctor.Health Question & Answer

OK, first if you need a medical opinion, get to a doctor.
Second, you can have migraines without pain.
But if sounds like one of two things to me. Because it happened in the shower, it could be dehydration. It used to happen to me a lot if I got the flu or a cold cause I only drank sodas, etc. Try drinking half of your weight in ounces a day - so if you weigh 130 lbs, you would drink 65 ounces of water a day - that's 2 big nalgene bottles, or about 5 regular sized store bought bottles.

Second, it could be low blood pressure - that was happening to me for a while and once I got it under control with medicine it stopped right away. Try standing up and sitting up slowly too and see if that helps at all.Health Question & Answer
