I know exactly what you are talking about. It's not decreased hearing like you would experience from being on a plane. It is the total absence of sound in that ear and you do nothing to fix it including not 'popping' your ear and then just as suddenly as it started, it goes away and you hear perfectly. I wish, just out of curiosity, that I knew what it is because, as you have probably guessed, I have had this too. I'm over a half a century old and it has happened only 2 or 3 times. The first was when I was about 25. I don't believe it is of any consequence but it sure is a weird feeling. If you find out, I'd love to hear about it.Health Question & Answer

well if u haven't been on an airplane lately, do u use Q-tips.? if so, then ur pushing the earwax down in ur ears. So go to Walgreen's or something like that and they should have this things that makes cleaning ur ears of wax safer. Cause most likely u got built up wax in ur ear.Health Question & Answer

it's kind of like when you're on an airplane and you get off and you need to pop your ears, your ear was kind of like when you're on the airplane, then after like 4 seconds you popped itHealth Question & Answer
