Question: What is the strongest decongestion over-the-counter medication available.?
Well, I just got over a bad cold. I'm feeling much better now, however now my ears are extremely congested. Not so much my nose or throat. My ears feel like I'm under water and I was hoping someone who has had similar symptoms can recommend a very good, non prescription, decongestive that may focus more on the ears. My friend gave Mucinex to her sons after they were very congested from a cold and she said it worked like a miracle. It's expensive but at least you know it'll work. Try that! :)Health Question & Answer
Sudafed (pseudoephedrine HCl) or phenylephrine are both about equally strong. You have to ask for Sudafed at the pharmacy counter now because it can be used to cook meth.Health Question & Answer
