If I have a low body temperature, at what point do I have a fever?!
Question: If I have a low body temperature, at what point do I have a fever.?
My temperature is usually around 96.7 when I'm feeling perfectly fine.
If normal body temperature is 98.6, and fevers are over 100...does that mean I still don't have a fever until it reaches 100 even though my regular body temperature is so low.?
Cause sometimes when I'm sick I feel absolutely awful, but my temperature very rarely hits the 100 mark. I can actually remember the few times in my life it has gone above that.

What an interesting Question.!
The answer is 2 degrees above your normal temperature. For the norm, 98.6 we have a low grade fever at 100.
For you, it would be 98, 99 degrees. If it hits 100 you are probably pretty sick with infection..! Right.?
So, add 2 degrees to your 96.7 equalling Low Grade, after that, its getting High!! 100..take acetaminophen.
