Of course. It is not a poison per se like cyanide; but it does uncouple (paralyze) muscle contractions (with botulism, you can't breathe --your respiratory muscles don't work) so if you were put on a ventilator-, you would probably recover--so not a typical poison as we think of poison. So in small doses it does what its supposed to do--relax (paralyze ) the small muscles in the face (temporarily). Anyway, why do you ask.?.?
