2 days later the area in my arm where I was given the shot is a little bit red and tender. It's not that painful. It feels like a bad bug bite. Is this normal of a flu shot.? I've never had a reaction before.Health Question & Answer

Thats not a reaction, that is just normal for a flu shot to do that, its better than having the flu, I have got them for 30 years. Its lasts about 3 days, you will be better tomorrow.Health Question & Answer

You may have tended to rub it, don't worry can't expect to have a needle stuck in your arm and not feel it.Health Question & Answer
I have the same reaction every year when I get my flu shot. Using a heating pad will make you more comfortable and a little soreness in your arm certainly beats the flu - which I am now recovering from!Health Question & Answer
