Question: Do I Have Sleeping problems.?
I am 13 years old and I always am exhausted. I know that it's probably because I don't get enough sleep. I get to bed around 10:00pm but for some reason It always takes me 2-3 hours to fall asleep. And I have to get up at 6:15am. So i always get around 5 hrs of sleep and I know I need more, but how.? I cant go to bed earlier- I have so much homework. also, I wake up sometimes during the night from nightmares and such... Health Question & Answer

There's a couple things this could be. One of them is depression. It often causes insomnia, but you will probably know, as you'll have other common depression symptoms. Another could be stress. A lot of times when you're stressed you tend to not be able to sleep. A big one is exercise. If you get little to no exercise, it can cause you to not be able to sleep, yet have low energy. Same goes for diet, if you're not eating healthy. It could also be caffeine intake. If you don't exercise or eat right, I would start with that.
