Question: Have you ever had this happen to you.?

I had a bad stomach ache last night. I got up to take some pepto bismol, only to realize that I had the chewables not the liquid. Well, I chewed them and went to sleep. When I woke up, my tongue was black! This has happened before.

What does this mean.?
Am I allergic.?

Yes this same thing happens to me. THis is a very common side effect of pepto bismol, especially the tablets. It will go away in a few days! no worries!Health Question & Answer
