If I need a makeshift IV?!
Question: If I need a makeshift IV.?
If I were in hypovolemic shock and needed blood, and I was intravenously hooked up to a coconut (assuming it was connected to my veins properly) what would happen to me.? What if I were not in shock.? What about other juices or liquids.? I know blood, electrolyte solutions and colloidal solutions would keep my alive but what about 'at hand' beverages. I assume a soda would be very bad.
