Question: Blood tests, can serotonin levels be checked with a blood test .? and :.?
I've taken anti depressants over the years and no dr. has ever run a blood test on serotonin levels. do they do this and if so, why don't they do it before they put someone on antidepressants. .?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Seratonin levels are not tested everyday by doctors and such. The only testing done is through research... if you were to want to get a test done, I'm sure it would be really expensive.
