Get really uneasy after i bleed?!

Some people can't stand the sight of blood especially on themselves. They may be afraid it is a serious cut and that they won't be able to get the bleeding to stop. Then you start hyperventilating (breathing faster and faster) until your carbon dioxide levels get too high and you black out or think you will pass out. First of all you are not going to get cut so badly you can't get it to stop with direct pressure, elevation, pressure point and as a last resort tourniquet. If you get cut bad call 911 if you think you can't make the bleeding stop. Next you have to control your breathing or you will pass out. If you don't have a brown bag to breath in and out of cup your hands over you nose and breath in and out in your cupped hands, NEVER use a plastic bag to breath in and out of. If you get cut bad and start having trouble breathing and don't think to call 911 just yell for help as loud and as long as you can until someone comes to help you. I think a first aid class would be a great thing for you to check in to taking so you won't be so afraid.Health Question & Answer

It sounds like you are getting anxiety attacks--would guess you obsess a wee bit too much when cut--could be a lot of reasons for that though. If this continues you should should seek medical help and perhaps they can shed light on your anxiety. :)Health Question & Answer
