Basically anyone can be a nurse, you just have to be sure that's what you want to do.. It is nice pay, but you have to have the heart for it, along with other things. You have to be able to stomach a lot of gross things.

Pretty much if you enjoy helping others get well and stay healthy than thats the job for you or whoever it may be you are asking about.

I would say that it definitely takes a special person to go into nursing at all - thank goodness for that. I wouldn't want just anyone deciding that it was their calling. I just found a neat health care resource board and thought you might want to see it. You might get more information about nursing. There is a forum but because it is so new, there aren't many posts perhaps go in and start a new thread.
