Question: Why does it itch when you get in hot water.?
Everytime i take a bath or a hot shower my skin prickles and itches so badly. i am assuming this is becuase of the hot water hitting the cold skin- but what causes this.?Health Question & Answer

I have a friend who's son is actually allergic to cold water. He breaks out in hives when exposed to cold water. I assume his reaction is psychosomatic but I have never gotten the chance to work with him to see.

You may simply have dry skin. Or your water supply may have too many minerals in it. Do you get this sensation everywhere you bathe or just at home.?
