What is the difference between a CMA and an LPN?!
Question: What is the difference between a CMA and an LPN.?
I believe the education and skills are very similiar. I often see ads for LPNs (licensed practical nurse.?), and rarely see them for CMAs (Certified Medical Asstant).
I am the latter, and looking for employment, so I was just wondering.Health Question & Answer
Answers:
LPN's and CMA's are outlined as the same, but if you look closely, there are minor differences. LPN's are taught on the basis of being an independent nurse, and how they focus more on individual skills etc., while CMA's are more geared towards teamwork and consistency with any tasks.
They're pretty much the same to let you know, although i believe LPN's do have a higher average pay.
