I would think it would be a similar situation to trying to suffocate ourselves. Our body would unconsciously make us drop the cold object before it did damaged. But I suppose if you touched something like liquid nitrogen, that would instantly do damage, then skin cells at the very least would be killed.Health Question & Answer
