Question: Are these side effects from my Hep B shot on monday.?
I am in grade 7 and I had my Hep B shot on monday. I was feeling sick yesterday before i went to bed (sore throat, stuffy nose) but i ignored it. This morning my Mom took one look at me and told me to stay home. I had (and still have) a sore throat, stuffed nose (only in the morning, not any more), dizzyness (when i bend down then stand i am wobbly), slight blurryness in my eyesight. And my stomach hurts. Are these side effects.? I am taking lozenges (Halls OXYGEN Sugar Free Grapefruit flavoured) for the sore throat.

Sounds like you came down with the flu. If you don't get better in a day or so I would call the doctor who gave you the shot or your family doctor. but here is some info on HEP B vaccines.
Most people who get hepatitis B vaccine do not have any problems with it, but some mild problems are soreness where the shot was given, lasting a day or two (up to 1 out of 11 children and adolescents, and about 1 out of 4 adults) mild to moderate fever (up to 1 out of 14 children and adolescents and 1 out of 100 adults)

Sounds more like dehydration, which in turn may cause slightly low blood pressure causing dizziness and stomach/digestive pains.
