How long can a person(18+) remain Unconscious after a Small Doze of Chloroform ? ?!
Question: How long can a person(18+) remain Unconscious after a Small Doze of Chloroform .? .?
I actually want to know the Proportion of Unconsciousness and the doze of Chloroform (i.e. Sleep time:Chloroform amount).
Because my elder brother, in a party , when given a small amount of chloroform using a Tissue Paper , he remained Unconcious for more than 12 hours , Was that Normal .? or What should be the Minmum Quantity of Chloroform be given to make him sleep ,without any harm.
If a Person after being given very few vapours of Chloroform is in Deep Sleep, how can You make him Come out of his Sleep , Is it WATER or DOCTOR .?
What a person feels awhen he wakes up after the full tight Sleep due to Chloroform.?

use smelling salts to awaken never hit or shake as this can cause spinal damage. If smelling salts do not jolt said person awake in 30 seconds get a doctor immediately. use half a tea spoon per 150 pounds of the designated person. do not use tissue paper as it will soak through and its so light when the person inhales they might get liquid, use a dusting rag if possible so they only get fumes. they should be out for about 5 hours any more with this amount call the doctor. 12 hours is dangerous it may be a sign of a lot of braincells getting destroyed, and a complete lack of synapses.
I must say i do not recommend chloroform as a sleep agent at all. because there are subtle risks and its not much better then ether for your brain. I do hope i answered your question though. if you need further information you can message me.
if your doing this to get high or as a recreational drug just stick with marijuana if you have to do anything at all. its not fatal it will make you sleep its perscribed here in canada to induce drowsiness as well as create appetite in cancer patients and numb pain in those allergic to codine and immune to morphine.Health Question & Answer

your brother is lucky he didn't die. Chloroform is used to Euthanize animals, it is not used as a general anesthesia for human beings and hasn't been for decades because it CAN be fatal. Different people respond to this drug in any amount with varying degrees of unconsciousness, up to and including death. Suggest that if you know of this sort of activity in future, you report it to the police, it is illegal, and very very dangerous.Health Question & Answer
I don't know anything about it; but as with most drugs I am sure there is not an exact equation for it as EVERYONE reacts differently to a drug. Depending on your tolerance, size, in this case probably the time you hold it to your face would effect it as well.
But I wouldn't be testing it cause I am sure it could kill you and life is not something to goof around with.
