... I get this sometimes... it doesn't hurt though, but all of a sudden I get this heartbeat type of pulse in certain areas of my body, but it lasts for a few seconds.

Twitching of muscles is different from throbbing pulse all over the body or certain areas of body or hearing pulse beat in the ears. Twitching muscles have slow pulse and accelerated on motion. If it is in fever and with much flushing of heat, cold and clammy skin with profuse sweat and throbbing throughout the whole body, abnormal sweat after influenza, Amyl Nitrosum in third potency has to be used.
If the symptoms are Pulse slow, soft, weak, irregular, intermittent, Rapid pulse, low tension, Constant, dull burning pain in the region of hear, Vulvular diseases, BEATING OF PULSE THROUGH OUT BODY, especially in right thigh, Veratrum Virde should be tried. The possibility of fibrillation is always there.
