Question: Eating disorder help from a girl please...?
I'm bulemic have been for years..I know everyone is going to say to go get help but for the record i've gone 2 weeks without purging so far and i think i can do this..my question tho is recently while purging I've been getting nose bleeds and I don't know what to do..has anyone heard of that happening before.?

While I have struggled with bulimia on and off for 12 years I have never gotten a nose bleed.... but the rule of thumb when purging besides of how bad it is for you... is the sight of blood is always bad. Kudos to you for going two weeks with out purging.. I know how difficult it is... Stay strong and don't be afraid to seek help when you need it. It is not easy to do with help but even more so to do alone. I admire your strength for trying to stop. I am personally entering a residential treatment program to try to help myself but that is because I know that I cannot do it on my own with all of the issues that I am facing myself. Good luck to you and hope that everything goes well. Back to your question though I think that you might want to go to the doctor and ask them or maybe if you have a nurse direct number you could call that...
