Alright, I will give you the straight facts that I know.

You will not find it harder to study. Just don't smoke weed the first time before you go to class or have to do something important. I think you will be surprised at how mellow it is. You will get the feel for how far you can take it and still function at your prime.

There has been no official or credible study showing that it kills brain cells. I mean, I am 21, smoke every single day, and I do accounting at a law firm. I do just fine! I can't look in my brain to see if any cells are dead, but I do not feel like it has any negative effects on my brains performance.

It can't be compared to alcohol. Weed doesn't make you lose your inhibitions. It doesn't make you get all loud and rowdy, you will not make stupid decisions, you won't throw up all night. You might get a little quiet and see things from a new perspective. It will make you feel light and airy. Not sick and crazed.

I guarantee smoking weed every now and then will only enhance your life, not make you regret ever starting.

Weed being laced with anything is as rare as someone finding razorblades in their childs Halloween candy. It doesn't really happen, but everyone is afraid they are going to be the unlucky one. The chances of that happening are very very slim.

Do not smoke the seeds and stems. Pluck all the leaves off the stems and tear them into small pieces. Toss the stems and seeds. Just smoke the leafy green part. Stems just taste bad, and if you get a seed in the bowl it will POP and smell kinda funny! :)

You are safe trying this. Have fun and don't stress about it. Health Question & Answer

smoking pot is bad for you in all aspects so dont try and justify it with "healthy" ideas. Its a psychotropic drug and alters your perception of reality, smells really bad, and can cause cancer just like other forms of smoking. It can be therapeutic but the benefits ar not healthy ones, just a numbing of the brain. Health Question & Answer

There is not doubt that smoking is one of the worst habits on the planet if not the worst. There are many numbers and other alternatives that you could try to stop. On my website I have a blog that is talking about what a lot of countries are starting to do to try to cut down on the level of smokers

DON'T DO IT!
It can lead to addiction and possible mental health problems. You will get into the wrong crowd and lose a lot of money. You may even end up getting caught by the police and get a criminal record. Hardly desirable, eh.?.?

Go out and have a good time without weed or worse...Health Question & Answer

I think you shouldn't even start. Spend your money on something else. You will kill brain cells. Anytime you put a drug or alcolhol into your body it is bad for you. Dont do it Period!Health Question & Answer

I got to say you are pretty bold do no smoke period because what this will do is it will kill your lungs and it will also **** up your future kids in other words if you had any kids they will be mentally retarded.

Here is a passage from
http://www.marijuana-addiction.net/marij...

Over 11 million people smoked marijuana last month. Many may not have severe marijuana side effects from taking the drug but many people will. Marijuana side effects include physical problems like breathing difficulties and deteriorating physical abilities. Despite a popular belief, marijuana side effects speed up the heart, blood and breathing rate. The body is taxed more and this speeds up the aging process just like methamphetamines do. The marijuana side effects from this extra exertion on the body include a higher risk for lung cancer, heart attacks and strokes.

Marijuana side effects also wreak havoc on the brain when the drug is used habitually. The natural chemical balance of the brain is disrupted affecting the pleasure centers and regulatory systems. The ability to learn, remember and adapt quickly to changes is impaired by marijuana use. Depression often occurs with marijuana usage, which feeds into the cycle of more drug use to treat the pain created by drug use. This cycle of addiction is very powerful and users soon find that they cannot stop using the drug even if they want to.

Marijuana addiction is a progressive disease and marijuana side effects include withdrawal and obsessive thought with the drug when it is not made available. Addiction is identified as a compulsive, uncontrollable craving for the drug even with pending negative consequences. Often users will attempt to stop smoking marijuana for an important event such as a job interview or court hearing and find themselves using very close or just before the event. This act goes beyond a flexing of willpower. This describes being enveloped by a disease that has taken control and needs to be treated.

IF THAT DOES NOT SCARE YOU THEN LISTEN TO THIS HIPPI'S STORY

ok, I am an old hippie, but my pot smoking days were gone 25 years ago. Anyway, a young professional man from my church admitted to me that he started about 2 months ago to smoke marijuana 4 or 5 nights a week after supper. His wife is about to leave him, but he continues. He had never done drugs at all before

He stated to me that often times after he smokes the next day he feels almost like he is getting a bad cold or a virus, headache, depression, intestional issues, and lack of energy. He said he feels sick. I do not remember this in my day, but maybe I did feel this way and forgot it. I have referred him to proper channels for help and his wife to Naranon/

But my question is besides amotivational syndrome which is common knowlege for pot heads, has anyone heard of folks feeling this kind of sickness after pot smoking. Maybe, he is sick with something else. I thought I knew much about drugs, but this one baffles me. He stated he just has a physical- he is 38, and he is ok.?

NOW LISTEN IF YOU SMOKE WEED YOU WILL FRIST BE HOOKED ON IT BECAUSE OF NICOTENE YOU CAN'T FIGHT THE DRUG BECAUSE IT WILL SEND SIGNALS TO YOUR BRAIN KILLING BRAIN CELLS THAT ARE SPECIFIC TO TELL YOU WHAT YOU WANT AND WHAT YOU DON'T WANT YOU WILL DEVLOP A DIEASE SIMILER TO OLDTIMERS YOU WILL also AGE FASTER AND IF THAT DOES NOT SCARE YOU WELL LISTEN TO MY LOGIC

If smoking wed kills your brain cells and slows your memory then lests say you have a stach in your house and you forget where you put it the cops come in your house because someone ratted you out then because of the memory loss you forget absolutely everything you were so going to do if this situation happened so they catch you then they throw you in jail for 10+ years you lose your mind in jail then someone kills you what do you do know... go to heaven or hell... wow that is a bad life oh i forgot your girl friend will also leave you and your teeth will turn yellow brownish yellow cause of all of the nicotene in the weed. now drinking is worse cause it is like an acid that burns holes in your body like what real alcohal i mean think of it this way would you go to a store and by a bottle of rubbing alchoal and drink it HELL NO
all beer is is alchoal with some other things to sugercoat it. NEVER DRINK, SMOKE. IT IS BAD
