Question: Only 12 yrs old with CONTACTS.?
Well ..I have a sister that is 11 years old and she really wants contacts for her birthday...and i also wear contacts and im 15. I just wanted to know if a 12 year old would be a recommended age for her to get contacts instead of 11 years old!...So, is 12 a good age or 11.? -thanks!Health Question & Answer

I started wearing contacts when I was 10 1/2 years old. As long as it is OK with her eye doctor and your parents, it should be fine.

It's alright for her to have contacts. It would probably be better for her, because I imagine the glasses bug her to death. I hated my glasses. Health Question & Answer
Ask your optomitrist. Can't see it being a problem though - one of the patients at the same opticians i use is only 8 and has the soft ones.Health Question & Answer
