Fill a bowl with hot boiling water, and then put a towel around it and around your face so it traps the heat in, and inhale the steam (Like a facial)

OOooo there is this great product that Kaiser sells, and I believe it was shown on Oprah.... the name is escaping me but it is some type of nasal saline rinse.

Its really gross to do but it works so well. It clears everything up and is worth the awkwardness and weird factor.

You fill this plastic tube up with warm water and the saline mix and then lean forward over the sink squeezing the rinse into one nostril. It goes through your nose to the other side pouring out (gross) but totally works!

for me it's a hot shower or running the hot water and putting my head over the sink and using a towel over my head to trap the steam in where I can breath it in. The steam loosens up the crap in the nose and helps.

I also use Afrin nose spray at night so I can breath while I sleep.Health Question & Answer
