There are four boys in my class that started sniffing tip ex a few days ago. Now they are addicted. I was just wondering if tip ex is a drug.? Would it have the same sort of ingredients as glue.?.?.?Health Question & Answer

Tipp-Ex contains 1,1,1-Trichloroethane which is a chemical compound that until recently was found in certain "inhalants".
When you inhale or ingest it, it acts like a central nervous system depressant and can cause effects similar to being drunk, like dizziness, confusion, and in sufficiently high concentrations, unconsciousness and death.
They only get you "high" for like 15-30 minutes, if that.
