Question: I have trouble sleeping. Can you help me.?
Every night I end up going to sleep at around 1-2am and I get up at 7 because I have to. I can never get to sleep before those times. It gets very draining and I fear for my health.Health Question & Answer

do you nap in the day time when you get home.?if so don't worry.if not you may need to start to relax sooner,than you usually do.maybe not drink any caffine after a certain time.no phone calls after a certain time.many people get even less sleep.my husband gets about 5 hours a night.and then sometimes around 4.when he wears down it's even more.lol hope this helped youHealth Question & Answer

what you should try doing is going to bed about 10 minutes early then you usually do and read a book or magazine with the lights off but still be able to see and then once your finished reading your eyes will get sleepy and you will probably fall asleep sooner, if that doesnt work maybe you could think about something that you really want or want to happen or thnk what might be happening the next day.or if you like to pray before you go to sleep (which i do) then pray about something that your having a problem with or for people around the world that dont have a home or food. OR you can close your eyes for a long time and do not open then and eventually you will fall asleep (thats not one of the best ways you can fall asleep... its actually one of the worst :P lol besides counting sheep) hope this works! :)Health Question & Answer

take a warm bath or shower, drink a cup of hot tea, listen to soft music.
make you bed room nice cozy remove the tv and leave everything that does not belong on your bed off like books, reports, etc etc.
close the curtain/blinds.
go to bed a hour earlier than normal. just lie there and think happy pleasant thoughts,(do count sheep)

You may have got into a routine. Which is fine, you may just need to take some tylenol or something to help you sleep. Eventually you may not need to take the pills anymore because you actually developed a routine of falling asleep earlier. Health Question & Answer
