Question: Xanax XR and Percocet together.? Any problems.?
OK, so lucky i have broken the outside of my foot and the doctor gave me percocet for the pain and one refill of vicoden. Has anyone taken these together and had a tough time. I'm a worry wort when it comes to medicine and already know it will be hard to wean off the Xanax XR. Is taking this for a short time going to make it worse or give me extra problems while i have the percocet.? I want to deal with the pain but i can barely walk. I don't want my anxiety worse and that's what i told the doc. Even my psychiatrist said it should be ok but i would rather hear personal experience. Thank you for any answers. It'll be okay, just make sure you take everything in the right doses your doc told you to take.

You cannot take any of those three meds together. Vicodin and percocet are basically the same thing. To take them at the same time is doubling your dosage. To add xanax to the mix would be disasterous. I don't know how qualified you psychiatrist is, but he or she is wrong. Call your regular doctor or pharmacist to check this out...you cannot take benzodiazapines and narcotics together. Health Question & Answer
Not a problem i have taken them both together and i was fine you will feel real energetic at first but maybe five to six hours later you'll crash. You will get sleepy but nothing serous will happen to you. You will be fineHealth Question & Answer
