Do you pee the same amount, more, or less than you drink?!

Question: Do you pee the same amount, more, or less than you drink.?
I just want to know if the amount you pee is more, less, or the same as the amount of liquid you take in. For example, if you drink a bottle of water, how much will you pee.? The same bottle size.? More.? Less.? I know it's a strange question, but I'm actually very curious.Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Urination is dependent upon many factors, not just what you drink. Hormones, salts, glucose, as well as the pressure with in your blood vessel system guides the kidneys to excrete or conserve water. So you could be dehydrated in which case you could drink fluids & not pee anything. You could be fluid over-loaded and after a drink pee more than you took in. If you drink coffee, it contains a diuretic (caffeine) so you always pee more. So, it varies from minute to minute. You also excrete water through the bowel and out the lungs in respiration and through the skin in perspiration--so the kidneys also balance that water loss as well.Health Question & Answer
