Long story. Am going to try to make it short..My uncle was walking to work. Got hit by a car(who left him there like a animal!!) and ended up in the hospital with 2 brain hemridges. He was in ICU for a couple days then taken out and place in a reg.room. They drained the blood out..Any who. 1 hemridge has,"dissolved",and the doctors said he still has one more. But hasn't grown..blah..blah..I found out he got released from the HOSPITAL TODAY!! How can this be.?!.?! Just b/c he has no insurance am sure! Anyways.. What's going to happen to him.?!.?!.? The doctors have said that he is absolutely NOT allowed to spend any time alone due to the fact that he may suffer from a seizure..etc. and cannot drive a car for 6 months...Does anyone know what happens next.?.? And why the doctors did not preform any surgery.? My uncle says he is in excruciating pain.:(:(:(

Wow this is really rough. Look in the internet for a Tramautic Brain Injury support group, they should be able to put him in contact with a health advocacy organization to ensure that he's not neglected by the medical system.Health Question & Answer

Hemorrhages from the accident are like breaking a china vase .
Attempts to go in can do far greater damage .
Sometimes damage is just Not repairable by current surgical techniques ,
( but people watch toooo much TV doctor shows and think everything can be fixed in an hour or so .)
Sorry about your uncle , but most hemorrhages survive less than a day .
That he is even alive is rare .

they may not have been able to operate, due to further damage to the brain and surrounding area, would you honestly want to risk him being damaged any further or even death by them operating on something that cannot be operated on, the docs know what they are doing trust them.Health Question & Answer

Thats wrong yall need to find another hospital to take him in. Thats very dangerous. He could die from not being under medical care. I'd watch him very closely if yall cant get in hospital. and bring him to doctor visits oftenHealth Question & Answer
