it is EXTREMELY contagious, but once you've had it, it would take a very changed strain to infect you. In other words, the other person need to be careful about who she comes in contact with. But you should be fine.
EDIT: Polarbear, it is VERY contagious and is a virus, not a natural problem. S.Bar, Chickin Pox vaccination does not stop shingles (or Herpes Zoster)
