Question: ALL EX-SMOKERS!!! how much weight did u put on.?
wel im still a smoker but really wanting to stop! My main reason 4 delaying the whole process, is cos i dont wanna put on weight. Im already trying to loose 7 kg's that i put on earlier this year! Is there any advice you could give me.? should i quit now or should i quit after ive lost my weight.? how much weight did u put on when u quit.?

I think once you quit smoking you should try to get into a healthier lifestyle. Eating very healthy and exercising regularly....you start to feel better instantly after quitting smoking. Here is a great book which many of my friends have used to quit smoking: Only Way To Stop Smoking Permanently by Allen Carr. I suggest you read that book if you are very serious about quitting smoking. I wouldn't worry about a little bit of weight gain because you are going to be so much healthier just from quitting. I gain 5 pounds (around 2 kilo) after I stop smoking, it is very difficult to stop. I have been smoking for over 40 years, and use the patch to help me stop smoking, after over 3 years Iam still smoke free. You need to try to stop, it just cost too much. Good luck.Health Question & Answer
