I highly doubt its pink eye, which is characterized by redness of the eye itself, not the eyelids and surroundings.

That definitely doesn't look like pink eye.
It could be some kind of infection, though. Does it hurt.?
If so, you should probably see a doctor. If it doesn't hurt (which would be a miracle since it looks awful) then try moisturizing it with some vaseline or something like that.Health Question & Answer
