Sore throat from smoking?!
Question: Sore throat from smoking.?
I tried smoking just for the hell of it (not trying to become a smoker, I was just curious-- no lectures please). I woke up the next morning with a sore throat which has gradually been getting worse: swollen tonsils, redness, hard to swallow. Did the smoke do this or do I have strep.? Will it go away.? Most likely, If you smoked lots of heat ( a ciggarette ) you throat will get sore from the heat and possible ashes inhaled. Or you may be allergic, wait three days and if you arent feeling better it most likely isnt connected with what you didHealth Question & Answer
See your doctor, you are just one of the unfortunates.Your tonsils are your first line of defence, listen to them and leave the smoking alone.I stopped smoking years ago,i would be dead now if i had,nt stopped, just my luck.I am healthier and feel better than i have felt for years now,i learned the hard way too.Health Question & Answer
some ppl get allergic to alot of things, its better to get a docter to check it out, or u may end up with lung cancer. the typer of smoke or the brand, probably cause it and because ur a first time smoker, so u need to get a docter before it gets worseHealth Question & Answer
Could be the fact that you aren't used to smoking. But I guess it depends on how much you smoke.
If it is due to the smoking, then yeah it will go away. It could also be tonsillitis.Health Question & Answer
