I recently went for a Cranial Perfusion scan ( Brain scan) and was told my results would take two to threee weeks to come through. Four days later i got a call off the Doctor saying he needed to see me at home. I refused as my wife wasnt there so he has asked me to go to his office next week. When i asked him for the results he refused to talk about it over the phone. Can you imagine what i`m going through .? I would be worried but the fact that they he didn't tell you over the phone might be a good thing but maybe you should ring and see if you can bring your appointment forward.
You look after yourself have been thinking about you lately I might be coming to England to visit my cousins so you just stay well enough so we can have lunch or devonshire tea together.

Most physicians and other medical persons usually feel that giving information over phone is unprofessional and unwise practice. There are many reasons.
If it was anything requiring immediate intervention, he would have sent you to the hospital.
Try to relax until the appointment. I understand it is the "not knowing" that is almost unbearable. Remember, you did have the choice to learn the results the day of the phone call.Health Question & Answer
