No, MDMA cannot be absorbed through the skin. The only active ways of taking it are orally, snorting it, injecting it (highly not reccommended) and rectally. It can't be smoked or taken through the skin.
also, the Oprah show was almost 100% false information. Please do not quote it as gospel. When it comes to drugs, harm reduction is the number one priority. Yes it can be absorbed through the skin... but not pure MDMA. While in the process of making MDMA, methanol is an ingredient. You take out the methanol in one of the final steps of making the ecstasy. If you do not take out the methanol, you can absorb it through your skin, but if you take it out, you cannot.

I can't answer this question but I can tell you that ecstasy taken by mouth causes holes to form in the brain and is a very dangerous drug that contains several different drugs combined to make it. You should do some research on it.Health Question & Answer
