Pretty much. It only gives you resistance to previously known strains of flu, and of course whenever there is a new cold/flu epidemic, it is always a new strain that no-one is resistant too.
All it does is kind of help build your resistance so if you do get a flu bug it might help you get over it quicker. At least in theory. Having said that, I have had it twice and both winters i suffered really badly so... who knows.?Health Question & Answer

Yup, it's crap. I took a shot once and it was the year that I got such a bad case of flu I felt like dying. Never again!Health Question & Answer
