Question: I paid for a prescription and it wasn't in the bag (Adderall, a schedule II drug).?
I paid for a prescription of Adderall (which is a controlled substance) around noon yesterday at a Walgreens. I didn't open the bag until later that night, at which point I realized the prescription wasn't in the bag (I had filled other scripts with it so the bag felt like something was in it).
I am going to call them when they open in 1.5 hours. What should I do if the pharmacy says they already gave it to me.? I'm really worried there will be big issues.
I'm thinking if they say they don't have it I'll go down there and ask to speak with a manager and have him review the security tapes (and have him show them to me).

ask them to check their back stock and see if there are 30 more or whatever than there should be (to prove you didnt get your 30/60/whatever).

Do go in and speak with the manager, if you do not have any luck there then call the police. If it is a controlled substance and one of the employees took it, then that is consistent with federal drug laws governing such a substance and should be reported.

I have had that happen to me and the pharmacy will have a record of all medications and they will know that you did not get the medication. They keep an inventory and this makes it easy for them to see that they have extra meds that were not given out. Health Question & Answer

That's a highly controlled sortta drug. They kept them in the safe at all time, for the sake of avoiding robbery. I strongly advise you to open it up to them as you may not want to be without the drug if you have not already realize its addictive nature. Security tape assures the truth till you walked out of the shop.
