What drug might have this effect?!

Question: What drug might have this effect.?
I think I might have had my drink spiked the other night but I'm not sure what with. What drug might cause these symptoms:
severe agitation;
inability to sleep;
panic;
sweating;
suicidal thoughts;
memory loss.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Did you experience: euphoria- in other words you "just felt good". Or was none of it pleasurable.?

The memory loss almost sounds like GHB, but that would make you drowsy, and this definitely sounds like some kind of stimulant. Caffeine, in high amounts, believe it or not, can cause everything you just listed, including memory loss.

We'd need to know a little more, though, like did you hallucinate at all, or did you experience euphoria.? What kind of drink was it in the first place.? It'd also help to know how severe your symptoms were and how long they lasted, because it sounds like a stimulant, but knowing more about the duration and severity would let us know if it was cocaine or something. It could be meth too, but meth might've kept you awake for about 2 days, while cocaine might have just kept you up all night. Could be ritalin, too.

If there was no general euphoria or any kind of focused stimulation, these symptoms also fit with antidepressants like cymbalta and such- especially the suicidal thoughts. Can you remember ANY other symptoms, like strange physical sensations when yawning, or increased or severely decreased sex-drive. I know that sounds silly, but it actually tells us a lot. How do you feel today.?

EDIT: Okay, so you felt ill for several days.? Did you continue to feel hyper, and have trouble sleeping, or was it merely the agitation and strange thoughts that continued to make you feel ill.? Because that, minus any hallucinating or euphoria, could definitely point to antipressants. DId you notice any kind of flavor.?

The memory loss really sounds like GHB, but it just doesn't fit with the other symptoms, unless it was a combination of GHB and some stimulant, which is INCREDIBLY dangerous, nevermind GHB alone. Here's some info on what I suspect so far:

GHB: http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/ghb/ghb....

Ecstasy (if the euphoria is part of what you can't remember):

The agitation, suicidal thoughts, sweating and memory loss fit this one, actually.

Dextromethorphan (basically Robitussin or Coricidin, but powdered): http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/dxm/dxm....
The problem I'd have with it being Dex is there could be memory loss, but you would have been mentally hallucinating and experiencing some extremely weird thoughts, and it would have been obvious. The agitation and suicidal thoughts would fit this one, though. Not necessarily the sweating, unless for the first day you didn't sweat at all and then you did the next day.

Ketamine (doubt it, though): http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/ketamine...

Maybe you got a low dose of GHB (a date rape drug, commonly slipped into drinks) AND another stimulant drug, because maybe the perpetrator figured it would lower the risk of you slipping into the comas GHB is notorious for.? There are several other drugs that the amnesia could be caused by but that would have made you sleepy. Again, though, as I said it also sounds exactly like certain antidepressants such as Cymbalta, because of the strange thoughts, the agitation, the fact they lasted for days, AND the memory loss might even be possible. If it was any kind of mental med, though, the list goes on forever of what it could be, although we could narrow it down by knowing who was at the party and if any of your suspects are on anything prescription, or have mental health problems. Certain antipsychotics like Klonipin could DEFINITELY describe the amnesia (I know from a horrible experience I had) and though they would tend to sedate you, they wouldn't necessarily make you sleepy per se.

One more question: how much alcohol did you drink.?

Thank you for the compliment. It may even just be that you had so much alcohol you accidentally poisoned yourself. Some people react the way you're describing as the result of a severe hangover. I know when I'm hung over, just because of my unusual brain chemistry, when I'm severely hung over I actually experience mimic schizophrenia and feel like life's a dream and nothing around me is really happening, even that I exist. Alcohol hangovers can do everything you're describing.Health Question & Answer

no barbituates are hypnotics prescibed to make you sleep. do research before you give a bullshit answer. that sounds like some kind of stimulant like meth or something. but i dont think anytone what put that in a drink.

ps. ecstacy acually sounds very likey. it can cause alll those problems except i usually remember most things when im rolling but you were also drinking so it could have a different effectHealth Question & Answer

it sounds like you had something like Ecstacy, however a type of crack could cause similar symptoms, however none of these sound likely to be slipped in a drink. Suspicion of being drugged can cause similar symptoms as well.Health Question & Answer
