I'm having surgery next week and I was told to avoid pain killers and herbs.

Are there certain drinks I should avoid.? Like pop, tea or coffee.?

Usually you are supposed to drink only clear fluids (anything you can see through like apple juice, cranberry juice, water, jello, clear broth, tea and coffee - no milk) and avoid pop and anything else carbonated.Health Question & Answer
