Now, I don't know what kind of parasite THAT is. If that's real, it would be caused by poor hygiene and/or contaminated food or water, I'd imagine.
In some parts of the world, "bot flies" are known to be a problem, and they can lay eggs in human and animal flesh. The maggots are much larger than those tiny worms though.
However, our skin and hair is home to microscopic organisms (harmless fungi and mites) that can actually feed on the dirt and dead cells and help keep the body's surface clean. :3Health Question & Answer
