Bleeding Ear Question?!

Ive had a stuffy nose for about a week now and recently, I saw that my ear was bleeding (left) then, a few days later (yesterday) my right ear started bleeding ALOT and wouldnt stop. I have also been gettin quite frequent nosebleeds. I went to the emergency room and they did nothing to help me, the doctor looked really young and everyone there seemed to be just wanting to get me out of there (I was the only patient, it is a fairly new hospital so not many people go there) He said my eardrum had a hole in it and that I should see an ENT as soon as possible and just sent me home with augmentin. This was all at 3 in the morning so there wasnt anywhere I could get the medicine and he wouldnt give me anything for the pain. I got the medicine from a 24 hour pharmacy and took it but the pain seems to have gotten worse and now I cannot hear very well and my neck is stiff. Is this something I should worry about.?

Someone I know had a similar problem and they had to have their adenoids and tonsils removed. Could the same think be necessary for me.?Health Question & Answer
