Do all kinds of tea work as a laxative?!

Question: Do all kinds of tea work as a laxative.?
I have diarhea like almost every morning and I am wondering why. It's been this way for a couple of months now. I'm a vegetarian (and have been for over a year), and I am wondering if that just comes with the territory. But this is really getting annoying to have my stomach hurt every morning and stuff.

I've tried changing what I eat for breakfast. I've tried eating yogurt instead of cerael. I've tried getting more protein. I've tried everything I can think of, except taking some kind of anti-laxative every morning or every night or something.

But the only thing I can think that I am having every morning the same is tea. But it's not the same kind every morning. I rotate about 10 different kinds. So I am wondering... is ALL tea a laxative.?

Does anyone know what could be wrong with me.? Does anyone know if it is unhealthy to have some kinf of medicinal anti-laxative every day.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
Yes, almost all teas are diuretics, meaning they cause your body to flush water out of your system by all means necessary. This will happen not only from the bladder but also from the lower intestine. Some people are more sensitive than others. Other beverages that act as intestinal diuretics are coffee and alcohol; urinary diuretics include cranberry juice and anything with caffeine, ginseng, or taurine.

In addition to cutting back on or eliminating the tea, ensure that you're getting enough insoluble fiber in your diet, ie. bran, psyllium, etc.Health Question & Answer

I do not believe so. There is such a thing called a laxative tea however not all tea is.
