I'm so stressed I can't take it?!


Question: I'm so stressed I can't take it.?
Does anyone know of any way to help me relieve my stress.?

Tonight's very hectic for me. I spent most of my day out at sports and have come home to about eight hours of homework. I have a project to do (my group has dumped the entire thing on me - it's due tomorrow), reports to finish, a debate to write, essays to start, and studying for three tests tomorrow.

And it's 11:36 p.m.

I'm about to break down and cry.

Any ways to relieve the stress.?

P.S. Please don't tell me I'm irresponsible for leaving it to last minute. I did some of my essays before but a document my teacher sent me gave me a virus and shut it down and the others... well, my teachers were just being cruel. =[Health Question & Answer

You really have very few options.
You could stay up all night and get the work done, which could make you do lousy on your tests..
or you can study for the tests (since they usually count for a higher % of your grade) and try to do what you can with the rest and just explain to your teachers what's going on.

Tell them things just caught up with you quickly and you were so overwhelmed you didn't know where to begin.
As for the group project, this happened to me all the time, and this last semester in college i got sick of it and told the professor discretely that I was doing everything and had documentation to prove it. This person isn't a good friend anyway if you're doing all the work, so what do you have to lose.?

To calm yourself down, fix some ice water, and maybe your favorite snack. Try some deep breathing, it naturally slows the body down inside. Work hard and get what you can done. You may lose a few points for late work, but i'd rather do that than do everything sloppy and get a bad grade on everything.Health Question & Answer

Something you can do is go to your teachers BEFORE the thing is due and say, "I'm sorry, I have looked at my schedule and I won't be able to hand this in on time, can I have an extension.?" It will show that you are responsible enough to look ahead and plan your time. If you go BEFORE it is due, like at least the day before, they will prolly grant your wish. I'm so sorry. Stuff like that has hapenned to me a lot too. I am a high school student and I have pulled an all nighter a couple of times, I know its hard. Well this is what I do when I get really stressed. I take five minutes and dim my lights, put relaxing music and do a little yoga or stretch. It really calms me down a lot and I feel really relaxed. Just write something. Random thoughts can be brought together with connecting sentences. If you find a place to start then write what you think should be said and make it read as if you were explaining it. Relax. I usually start with a blank page and start writing thoughts and phrases.
